Connect 4 with a Great Addition March 7, 2009 K. A. Sinacori (Orange County) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
So right away, Connect 4 is a great game and Spongebob Squarepants is a great character. The combination in this case works beautifully. They even have a new twist to the game. You can place blockers to stop your opponent from placing their pieces in certain rows. This really does add a new dimension to the game. This game is also helping teach my 6-year-old daughter about strategy in a way that no other game has managed to do. She's thinking ahead about where to place her chips and simultaneously playing offense and defense without even realizing it. It's the beginning of a multi-tasking brain! This is one of the few games I actually enjoy playing! This and rummy tiles. So yeah, my standards are high.
great game! September 12, 2009 gayle (Texas) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
my 6-yr-old son learned to play connect four at school, so i thought i'd get him the sponge bob version when i saw it. we've loved it and play it several times a week. there is an alternate way of playing using the blockers, but we haven't even used those yet. we just play the regular way. the game is pretty sturdy and we haven't had any problems with it.
Everything Spongebob February 10, 2010 Piper Barker (Trumbull, CT USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was for a kid who is all about Spongebob. Anything Spongebob he likes! Connect4 in general has always been a big hit with the kids in my family, but getting the themed one for the crazed Spongebob fan got me great marks.
For my Classroom October 5, 2009 W. Copeland My children love this game. Let's say because its a character connect four that brings an extra flavor and touch to the game.
Spongebob Connect 4 January 9, 2010 A. Franklin (Porter, TX USA) My 5 yr old loves playing this game! It has lots of little stickers...spongebob & patrick faces that you have to put on the pieces yourself so, the initial setup takes a while, but I think its worth it because it makes the game seem more fun.
